Giglia uses relief as an expressive material.

Inspired by the stained glass of cathedrals, ancient bas-reliefs, the art of lace making and jewellery, aboriginal textiles, she has created her own technique to be applied on canvas: Acrylic Relief.

To further enhance the character of the relief, Giglia adds sand to acrylic tracing, thus defining the technique he has created and developed over 35 years of experience.
